About Taylor Compress

Taylor Compress is a division of Texas Cotton Growers Cooperative Association, created in 1968, that operates warehouse facilities in Taylor and Bryan. Taylor Compress has the capacity to receive, store, and ship more than 200,000 bales each year. Both Taylor and Bryan are centrally located between major cotton delivery points and easily accessible by major highways.

Taylor Compress serves 275+ members and receives cotton from 17 Gins in Central Texas. As a grower-owned warehouse Taylor Compress adds value to each members operation through real ownership in a cotton warehouse by distributing dividends to the member based on their patronage of the warehouse. The Association is divided into 14 districts and each district elects a director to serve on the Board. The Board of Directors meet quarterly and have the responsibility to set policy, give direction, and review the financial statements of the Association.
